One of them was a Desktop system and included its own Claim Submission & Handling Routine as well as an ePrescription engine certified by SureScripts. The system was certified for MU Stage 1 and provided very detailed care plans using third-party data services.
The second EMR was built for Ambulatory situations and later modified for Urgent Care settings. The system interfaces with multiple apps, portals & third-party systems and is certified for MU Stage 3. This is a browser-based system built on Java.
